About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical help and incident troubleshooting for SVN, Perforce, GitHub, and other business-critical applications
Conduct functional analysis, system configuration, and technical development of SCM tools
Monitor system performance and propose balanced solutions and modifications
Perform performance tuning for slow-running processes
Address application changes according to security recommendations
Partner with worldwide groups to apply and supervise application updates and configuration adjustments
Support version control applications and other SaaS and on-premises systems
Maintain non-technical system documentation, process flow charts, and build documents
Discuss requirements with end users and develop functional specifications with Business Analysts
Follow Change Control procedures and perform regular environment refreshes and maintenance
Diagnose and resolve application environment issues
Install, configure, upgrade, and optimize application environments
Develop and implement technical recovery and continuity plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in administration, configuration, and support of Linux, SVN, GitHub, Perforce, and DevOps tools
Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation
Proven capability to deliver application support and resolve incidents promptly
Experience in performance tuning and applying security principles
Demonstrated success collaborating with international teams to deploy technical solutions
Familiarity with Grafana and PRTG monitoring tools
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence project management tools
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to detail technical specifications clearly and concisely
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to develop balanced business solutions
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a related field
