About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and contribute to scope and objectives for enhancements and new initiatives within ASU’s Degree Planner and Enterprise Salesforce Org
- Consult with faculty, academic college staff, and university service units to understand business needs and identify process improvement opportunities
- Elicit, analyze, and document user requirements through interviews, stakeholder meetings, workflow analysis, use cases, and user stories
- Plan, prepare, and lead stakeholder briefings, requirements discovery workshops, and survey readout sessions
- Facilitate virtual sessions with 20 or more participants, manage discussion, capture input, and produce actionable outcomes
- Develop and distribute pre-session materials, facilitator guides, and post-session summaries
- Serve as liaison between academic and administrative stakeholders and technical teams
- Review technical specifications with development teams and confirm alignment with business requirements
- Support system maintenance by identifying needs, coordinating with technical teams, and validating updates
- Develop and support user acceptance testing plans
- Create and maintain business process documentation and training materials
- Support end users with onboarding, training, and troubleshooting
- Document security requirements and support appropriate user roles and access
- Monitor implementation progress, track issues, and communicate status updates
- Assess solution effectiveness and recommend improvements
- Support reporting and data analysis efforts related to decision-making and data governance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
- Experience appropriate to the assigned field
- Ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Ability to analyze current and future state processes
- Experience or ability to support end users, onboarding, training, troubleshooting, enhancements, and quality assurance/user acceptance testing
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, including virtual sessions with 20 or more participants
- Ability to create business process documentation, training materials, facilitator guides, and post-session summaries
- Ability to collaborate with academic, administrative, technical, and development teams
- Ability to document security requirements and support user roles and access
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced environment
