About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide endpoint support to faculty, staff, and students using hardware and software
  • Receive, monitor, respond to, and update support tickets through phone, email, and chat
  • Assess and address customer inquiries promptly, empathetically, and efficiently
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate channels
  • Install software and establish network connections according to standards
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software using diagnostic procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma and two years’ experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR equivalent combination of experience and/or training
  • Experience providing IT diagnostic and troubleshooting support
  • Experience in a high-volume call center customer service setting
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability
  • Understanding of Windows and/or Mac functionality
  • Understanding of email platforms such as Outlook, O365, Gmail, and mobile device clients
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical customers
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to participate in scheduled and ad-hoc training
  • Successful pre-employment background and fingerprint checks required
