About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Undertake preventive and reactive maintenance of medical devices and equipment for internal and external customers
  • Perform quality assurance, installation and commissioning of Arjo products and third-party products supplied and supported by Arjo
  • Carry out installation, maintenance, repairs and testing of Arjo products at customer facilities
  • Maintain the safety and integrity of serviced products in accordance with company policy
  • Install systems to full working capacity
  • Ensure operators understand operating and emergency procedures
  • Promote Arjo services and service contracts to customers
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and embrace Arjo values
  • Travel around Auckland and the upper North Island for servicing and installations
  • Undertake some national travel
  • Report directly to the National Aftermarket Manager and work with locally based Auckland Service Technicians

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Electrical Appliance Serviceperson (EAS) or Electrical Service Technician (EST) qualification and EWRB registration
  • Experience servicing medical devices and equipment is desirable
  • Problem solving and fault finding skills
  • Strong desire to achieve a high level of professional customer service
  • Clean full Driver’s License
  • Good personal presentation
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good communication with customers and colleagues
  • Successful applicants must undergo relevant Reference Checks, a National Police Check and Drug & Alcohol Screening prior to appointment
