About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide preventative maintenance and repair on Arjo medical equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repair services, installations, and upgrades at the Englewood, NJ Service Center
  • Perform occasional on-site repairs at customer locations, including hospitals
  • Travel to other Arjo service centers in the area
  • Complete and submit reports accurately within required deadlines
  • Manage local and van spare parts inventory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment
  • Experience with medical equipment a plus
  • Electrical and mechanical assembly, repair or maintenance training and/or certifications preferred
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics
  • Approximately 20% overnight travel
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to push/pull heavy objects using up to 70 pounds of force
