About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee end-to-end operational activities, including inbound coordination, outbound distribution, inventory management, demand planning, warehouse operations, and customer delivery performance
Manage inventory accuracy, stock levels, discrepancies, inventory controls, stock counts, and Sage X3 inventory records
Manage incoming inventory receipt, verification, put-away, supplier coordination, shipment schedules, and receiving compliance
Oversee order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, daily dispatch plans, transport providers, and customer deliveries
Develop demand forecasts using historical sales data and business intelligence
Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Procurement to align inventory with forecasted demand
Identify supply risks, develop mitigation plans, and support replenishment planning and purchasing recommendations
Manage order fulfilment risks, delivery expectations, customer complaints, and delivery satisfaction
Develop operational KPIs and performance dashboards using advanced Excel reporting tools
Drive improvements in productivity, inventory turns, delivery performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization
Lead and develop warehouse and operational staff, establish objectives, and conduct performance reviews
Ensure compliance with health, safety, company policies, QMS requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and documented procedures
Support internal and external audits and implement corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Management, or a related field
Minimum 5 years' experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Management
Proven experience managing inventory, warehousing, and distribution functions
Experience in demand planning and inventory forecasting
Experience managing third-party logistics providers and transport partners
Experience leading and developing operational teams
Experience using Sage X3 ERP (preferred)
Experience in a medical devices, healthcare, manufacturing, or distribution environment (preferred)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
Power Query knowledge (advantageous)
Strong ERP system knowledge, preferably Sage X3
Supply chain planning and inventory management expertise
Strong reporting and analytical capabilities
Strong planning and organisational skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Knowledge of and adherence to quality standards, documented procedures, and work instructions
Ability to support ISO 13485 certification requirements, audits, and corrective actions
