About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and implement Lean initiatives within the plant to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Support project management activities as needed
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of Lean and organizational projects in collaboration with the Project and Lean Manager
  • Lead Kaizen events and facilitate workshops to identify waste, bottlenecks, and process redesign opportunities
  • Drive transformation programs and promote daily management, visual controls, and standard work
  • Measure and report KPIs covering safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement
  • Assess workflows and identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Train employees in problem solving, root cause analysis, and efficiency techniques
  • Document improvement initiatives, outcomes, and lessons learned
  • Facilitate value stream mapping, root cause analysis, and brainstorming sessions
  • Align cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, PD&E, Finance, Projects, and HR
  • Support corporate performance and planning processes and initiatives
  • Develop action plans and implement Lean tools and techniques to reduce waste and improve efficiency
  • Write SOPs, work instructions, and checklists aligned with Lean principles
  • Provide regular project progress reports to the project manager
  • Monitor progress, update schedules, communicate status, facilitate meetings, and maintain action registers
  • Represent the customer internally and ensure customer needs are addressed
  • Assist with project schedules, action registers, monitoring activities, and task management
  • Manage scope changes and escalate project issues through resolution
  • Address missing information and verify project status promptly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Kaizen Facilitator
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience driving transformation programs with facilitation experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading projects
  • Ability to analyze processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
  • TPM knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Experience with MS Project Software is a plus
  • English proficiency
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and training sessions
