About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and lead continuous improvement ideas, projects, and initiatives.
- Identify root causes, develop and implement corrective-action plans, verify effectiveness, and report and analyze post-project success to validate ROI.
- Function as the Manufacturing Engineer and/or Operations liaison to coordinate and facilitate smooth product launch transitions from development to production.
- Improve labor efficiency and throughput through automation, process improvements, and line balancing.
- Comply with and participate in environmental, health, and safety programs.
- Support plant activities to enforce a safe and healthful work environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in a process and/or manufacturing engineering function within a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of new process development, project management, ISO or FDA quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10%, as needed.
- AutoCAD experience (2 dimensional).
- Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, cost reduction, and waste reduction experience/education.
- Exposure to work instructions, specifications, product drawings, control plans, and FMEA’s.
- Strong problem solving capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate English.
- Focus in problem solving.

- Interpersonal skills.
