About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shipping and receiving goods at the Mississauga Distribution Centre
- Picking orders and stocking inventory
- Controlling inventory and cycle counting parts
- Processing, packaging, and labelling inventory and customer orders
- Preparing bills of lading through the Transportation Management System
- Establishing and maintaining reliable records according to company procedures
- Operating a Raymond Reach to move, convey, or hoist products and pallets
- Opening packages, removing products, and visually inspecting for damage where appropriate
- Maintaining workplace health and safety practices
- Maintaining compliance with all quality requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Highly advanced organizational and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality management
- Current or prior forklift/Raymond reach experience
- Excellent consistent communication to all team members and management
- Excellent knowledge of computerized environments applying variety of program skills
- Efficient time management skills and ability to meet prescribed deadlines
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, and sit
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
