About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the first point of contact for HR enquiries via phone and the HR case management system
- Prepare and issue contracts, offer letters and onboarding documentation for new starters
- Manage Right to Work checks and maintain compliance records
- Process employee lifecycle changes within Workday, including starters, leavers and transfers
- Maintain accurate HR records in line with GDPR requirements
- Support payroll processes by ensuring employee data is updated accurately and on time
- Manage employee benefits administration, references, travel passes and other HR-related requests
- Support Subject Access Requests (SARs)
- Produce HR reports and management information and support audit activities
- Assist with HR projects, continuous improvement initiatives and employee engagement activities
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues across HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Finance and operational teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Experience using HR systems and databases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- A collaborative and customer-focused approach
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or HR Shared Services environment (desirable)
- Experience using Workday (desirable)
- Experience supporting a variety of administrative and project-based activities (desirable)
- Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and mail merge (desirable)
