About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory
  • Plan strategy and develop key customer relationships to establish a foundation for solution selling
  • Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts determining design opportunities
  • Address existing business challenges and ensure customer satisfaction related to supply chain management and value-added services
  • Prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews and present strategic growth plans and implementation steps
  • Lead regular QBRs with major customers to identify additional sales opportunities
  • Create demand for Arrow products and services
  • Work with engineers and designers to specify, select, and resolve electronic board designs with Arrow franchised suppliers
  • Promote and sell value-added, supply chain, and full life-cycle programs offered by Arrow
  • Establish and build relationships with key suppliers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment
  • Extensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry
  • Ability to prepare comprehensive internal quarterly business reviews (iQBR), presenting strategic plans and implementation steps to grow sales, create demand, and improve customer service
  • Ability to lead regular QBRs with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities
  • Experience creating demand for Arrow products and services
  • Ability to work with engineers and designers to specify, select, and resolve electronic board designs with Arrow franchised suppliers
  • Proficiency in sales tracking systems, Salesforce.com, and Oracle
  • Typically requires a 4-year degree and 2–4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
