About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee strategic and sales objectives for assigned teams.
  • Create tactical solutions to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Recruit, hire, and create personnel development plans.
  • Identify and nurture high-potential talent and plan succession.
  • Build a talent pipeline for positions outside the immediate team.
  • Monitor process, progress, and results.
  • Set team direction and priorities and remain accountable for team performance.
  • Serve as the sales team point person for strategy opportunities, problem resolution, and escalated issues.
  • Drive large deals and negotiate aggressively during the deal process.
  • Balance customer service excellence with company profitability.
  • Use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems.
  • Develop the sales team to accurately enter and manage opportunities.
  • Ensure Opportunity Manager information is accurate and up to date.
  • Review and actively manage opportunities.
  • Measure performance against goals and evaluate results.
  • Hold the team accountable for Opportunity Manager information and provide course correction.
  • Educate partners on registering opportunities and transacting business with Arrow and vendors.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on Arrow and vendor tools and processes.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically requires 5–7 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
  • Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team.
  • Sets priorities for the team and coordinates work activities with other supervisors.
  • Decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan.
  • Accountable for results of a large and/or moderately complex support or production operations team including subordinate work leaders.
  • Applies acquired expertise to analyze and solve problems without clear precedent.
  • Provides input on resource planning and policy development.
  • Coaches team members on performance, completes employee performance evaluations and recommends pay actions.
  • Participation in a sales compensation plan is required.
  • Fully in-office Monday–Friday.
