About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the single point of contact for large, multi-location, complex Arrow customers
  • Create selling opportunities within specified strategic customer accounts through strategic relationships with top management
  • Achieve sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives
  • Develop strategic account plans with mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
  • Execute solution selling using Arrow’s supply chain solutions and design processes
  • Grow profit and maximize margins through value-added, long-term solutions
  • Coordinate sales support, service, and management resources to meet account objectives
  • Manage a territory of accounts typically up to $125 million
  • Plan, manage, and oversee RFQs within assigned customers
  • Participate in significant contract review and negotiation
  • Coordinate contract renewals and negotiations across Arrow and customer departments
  • Analyze market share and competitor activity within assigned accounts
  • Develop strategic relationships with manager, senior management, and C-level stakeholders
  • Interface with suppliers on demand creation progress
  • Build relationships with supplier representatives and managers
  • Develop relationships with marketing, product development, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering personnel
  • Lead functional teams or projects and serve as a best-practice/quality resource

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Building influential customer relationships
  • Creating selling opportunities within specified strategic customer accounts
  • Experience with Aerospace and Defense customers strongly preferred
  • Experience working with distribution in complex major accounts
  • Hunter mentality
  • Proficiency with data, SFDC, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Excellent presentation skills are a must
  • P&L experience preferred
  • Must be able to travel up to 30%
