About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as part of the Payroll Team and first point of contact for HR/payroll inquiries
  • Assist employees with policies, procedures, technology support, and general questions
  • Assist managers with employee lifecycle administration
  • Respond to regulatory or complex administrative HR questions through multiple channels
  • Answer basic HR regulatory policy questions for managers and employees in the Netherlands and Belgium, escalating as appropriate
  • Act as a point of contact for HR colleagues
  • Maintain the payroll audit database and monitor data analysis between payroll and HR
  • Reconcile and process payroll information, including relocation adjustments, bonus payments, stock options, and time accrual adjustments
  • Support onboarding, contract changes, contract extensions, terminations, and other employee data changes
  • Create regular reports for company stakeholders
  • Define and implement standardized HR process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and support internal and external audits
  • Ensure document quality and data correctness in systems
  • Support HR projects including system upgrades, procedure writing and review, and process alignment with other teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in end-to-end Dutch Payroll process
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour law
  • Solid knowledge of HR-related administrative processes and procedures
  • Fluent Dutch is an asset
  • English at least B1 level
  • Knowledge of Excel, including lookup formulas and pivots
  • Good communication and social skills
  • Experience with AFAS Profit and Workday is nice to have
