About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Determine what organizational changes mean for affected personnel and what preparation is required
  • Identify affected sites, roles, workflows, handoffs, responsibilities, and systems
  • Account for concurrent changes underway at affected sites
  • Build implementation plans covering pre-change, during-change, and post-change activities
  • Define readiness activities, training needs, communications, and adoption measures
  • Identify change-related risks to the program and affected personnel and escalate them to leadership
  • Conduct stakeholder analyses and impact analyses
  • Develop readiness assessments, communication plans, roadmaps, training plans, and resistance management plans
  • Work with clinical and operational leaders to build support and address pushback
  • Track adoption and readiness and report progress to program leadership and the customer
  • Coordinate with training, communications, and informatics staff to align change activities with delivery timelines
  • Contribute change management content to program reports and deliverables

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree
  • Ten (10) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience leading organizational change efforts in large or complex organizations
  • Experience conducting stakeholder analyses, impact analyses, and implementation planning
  • Experience identifying and reporting risks tied to organizational change
  • Experience briefing and working with senior leaders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required VA Tier 1 / Public Trust background investigation
  • Prosci certification, or equivalent change management certification (desired)
  • Experience supporting VA, VHA, DoD, or other federal health programs (desired)
  • Experience with change management in a union environment (desired)
  • Experience on an electronic health record rollout or improvement effort (desired)
  • Experience working in a SAFe or other Agile delivery environment (desired)
  • Experience with government contract deliverables and reporting (desired)
