About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and manage delivery of client support services
- Ensure high-quality client services through training and supervision
- Build and maintain relationships with partner agencies
- Develop and monitor success metrics, client assessment tools, outcomes recording, caseload management, and priority-setting systems
- Process internal referrals and assign cases to staff
- Monitor Client Support Coordinator caseloads for equity, agency capacity, and balanced responsibilities
- Schedule and run Client Support team meetings
- Participate in hiring staff and relevant interns; supervise interns and volunteers as needed
- Lead assigned staff with the Managing Director; conduct supervision, evaluations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and other personnel actions
- Mentor assigned staff and monitor individual work plans
- Participate in external committees and meetings
- Provide external training for partners and other organizations
- Translate/interpret for clients and attorneys as needed
- Collaborate on special projects supporting client needs and tangible supports
- Manage a small caseload requiring ongoing support with housing, financial assistance, safety planning, and additional resources
- Support Coordinators with emergency cases, coverage, and in-person coverage at the Order of Protection Program
- Support clients through safety planning, information, and advocacy
- Maintain communication with clients across divisions
- Deliver trauma-informed services
- Maintain client files and open/close cases according to agency procedures
- Record client communications in Legal Server
- Connect clients to resources and assist with financial assistance applications
- Assess and refer clients for public benefits enrollment assistance
- Develop training materials and client assessment tools
- Develop and maintain CSC internal and client-facing forms and case filing systems
- Protect confidential information and perform administrative duties as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish and/or another language preferred
- Must have completed or be willing to complete 40-hour Domestic Violence training
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds who are in crisis
- Knowledge of or experience with survivors of gender-based or intimate partner violence
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations
- Familiarity with principles of trauma-informed care and willingness to complete additional training
- Ability to communicate effectively with people in crisis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong self-motivation and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Sensitive listener with the ability to explain complex concepts
- Basic computer and office skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Pre-employment reference checks may be conducted
