About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide proactive service and communications to retirement plan clients
  • Support clients through phone, letters, and email to quickly resolve requests
  • Act proactively with assigned clients and advisors to ensure retention and encourage client dedication and engagement
  • Interpret plan documents for client plan administration
  • Provide calculations and amounts to plan sponsors, communicate fund actions, answer inquiries, research and resolve issues, provide legal updates, and respond to specialized report requests
  • Assist plan sponsors and intermediaries with web-based applications and deliver web demonstrations for financial advisors and plan sponsors
  • Work with clients to correct and fund payroll items and manage distribution requests
  • Coordinate plan compliance testing with the compliance team
  • Participate in sales final presentations and promote cross-sell opportunities as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or combination of education and industry experience
  • 3–5 years of total experience in Retirement Services, with emphasis in daily 401(k), 403(b), or IRA areas
  • Strong MS Office skills, with an emphasis in Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • 10% travel availability
