About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take ownership of the email marketing function, partnering with leadership to set goals tied to demand generation and pipeline
  • Build and maintain the email marketing calendar, aligning sends with product launches, events, webinars, and sales priorities
  • Develop segmentation and cadence strategies for prospects, customers, and partners
  • Plan, build, and send newsletters, promotional sends, event invitations, and product announcements
  • Coordinate with content creators and project manage the flow of content into the email program
  • Write and edit email copy and subject lines for security, risk, and compliance leaders
  • Run QA on every send, including content, links, PDFs, rendering across devices, and personalization fields
  • Design, build, and optimize automated workflows, including lead nurture tracks, onboarding sequences, and re-engagement campaigns
  • Work with sales to align email touches with the sales process and lead handoff
  • Build targeted prospect lists using Salesforce and ZoomInfo and manage list growth strategies
  • Manage the contact database, including segmentation, data hygiene, suppression, and unsubscribes
  • Monitor bounces, spam complaints, and SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication to protect sender reputation and inbox placement
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, calls to action, and send times
  • Own weekly reporting on open, click, conversion, and unsubscribe rates
  • Report monthly and quarterly on email's contribution to leads, pipeline, and revenue
  • Recommend improvements to email systems, processes, and tools
  • Support other tasks needed for the team's success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of hands-on email marketing experience
  • Proven experience in email campaign creation and execution for technical or regulated B2B buyers, such as security, risk, compliance, and IT leaders
  • Experience running email campaigns from planning through execution and reporting, and a desire to own the full program
  • Ability to segment audiences and tailor messaging across SP6's markets: AI governance, risk, and compliance; AI security; AI system resiliency; security operations (SIEM); and cyber risk and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or a similar marketing automation platform, such as Marketo or Pardot
  • Experience with automation, workflows, segmentation, and nurture strategy
  • Working knowledge of deliverability, list management, and email compliance
  • Comfort with data: you track KPIs, run tests, and turn results into recommendations
  • Clear, concise writing and strong attention to detail
  • Experience and knowledge with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel SIEM, CrowdStrike NextGen SIEM, Google SecOps, Rapid7, Exabeam, IBM QRadar, Palo Alto Cortex, SentinelOne, Dynatrace (Observability), or GRC solutions is a plus
