About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Director, Business Development in executing the new business strategy and meeting or exceeding annual revenue goals
  • Conduct prospect research and identify new partnership opportunities across consumer goods, technology, health, financial services, food, and emerging sectors
  • Develop customized partnership proposals, presentations, pitch materials, and sponsorship concepts
  • Cultivate and manage prospective corporate partner relationships through outreach, meetings, follow-up, and stewardship
  • Maintain an active prospect and opportunity pipeline using Salesforce, Airtable, and other tracking systems
  • Monitor corporate philanthropy, cause marketing, employee engagement, and corporate social responsibility trends
  • Evaluate and prioritize high-potential partnership opportunities with the Director, Business Development
  • Represent the ASPCA at networking events, conferences, and industry functions
  • Support negotiations and contract development for new partnerships
  • Manage select corporate partnerships from inception through activation, reporting, and renewal
  • Serve as primary day-to-day contact for assigned partners
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to execute partnership deliverables on schedule
  • Oversee partnership recaps, impact reporting, and stewardship materials
  • Guide creative approvals, content reviews, and campaign implementation
  • Identify partnership growth, renewal, and deeper engagement opportunities
  • Support implementation and growth of the ASPCA's Private Workplace Giving strategy
  • Develop employee engagement opportunities, fundraising campaigns, and activation resources
  • Lead employer-facing resources, toolkits, presentations, and marketing materials
  • Track program participation, engagement, and revenue metrics
  • Maintain records and opportunity tracking in Salesforce, Box, Airtable, and other systems
  • Assist with revenue forecasting, pipeline reporting, departmental planning, internal updates, leadership presentations, and strategic planning materials
  • Respond to inbound corporate inquiries and partnership requests

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 5 or more years of experience in corporate partnerships, business development, account management, fundraising, marketing, or related field required
  • Experience cultivating and managing external relationships required
  • Experience developing partnership proposals and presentations required
  • Experience managing projects required
  • Experience developing materials or presentation materials for an external audience required
  • English language required
  • Experience tracking data and metrics highly preferred
  • Nonprofit work experience preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce, Airtable, Canva, Microsoft Suite, and Box strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of cause marketing principles and corporate partnership structures
  • Advanced awareness of business and social media platforms, metrics, and emerging partnership trends
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
