About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own day-to-day coordination of corporate risk management activities across Finance, Treasury, Legal, Sales, Commercial Finance, and other internal teams
- Manage the lifecycle of trade finance instruments, including bid bonds, performance guarantees, letters of credit, and other instruments
- Coordinate with Treasury and banking partners on applications, issuance, monitoring, renewals, and release of trade finance instruments
- Track requests, assignees, statuses, aging, bottlenecks, expiration dates, and open risk items using JIRA or other workflow tools
- Monitor open and expiring guarantees, bonds, insurance certificates, and other risk instruments
- Coordinate certificate of insurance requests, coverage evidence, and stakeholder follow-up
- Support contract negotiations by identifying insurance, indemnity, liability, parent guarantee, performance guarantee, and other trade finance requirements
- Partner with Legal and Commercial teams to evaluate non-standard contract terms and ensure business risk acceptance is explicit and approved
- Comply with approval matrices, DOA guidelines, and escalation paths for insurance and trade finance decisions
- Translate complex insurance and trade finance issues into clear business recommendations for senior finance and commercial leadership
- Improve front-end deal review discipline by ensuring requirements are reviewed before contracts are signed
- Educate Sales, Project Management, Legal, and Finance teams on trade finance and insurance requirements, red flags, and lead times
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 10–12 years of professional experience in finance, including substantial experience in Corporate Treasury
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage complex long-term projects
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Advanced expertise in Excel
- Experience building and using business intelligence tools
- Extensive experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems, Jira, banking platforms, and other analytical tools
- Ability to synthesize and present complex data to senior leadership clearly and actionably
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to solicit information and foster cooperation from diverse internal and external stakeholders
