About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage customer invoicing accurately and on time
Monitor customer accounts
Lead payment reminders and receivables collection
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy
Take full responsibility for the general ledger and trial balance
Oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure the reliability of accounting records
Supervise supplier payments and expense management
Manage tax filings, including VAT and other tax obligations
Prepare and file annual accounts with the relevant authorities in France and Belgium
Ensure compliance with French and Belgian accounting standards
Prepare monthly financial reporting and reconciliations
Contribute to budget preparation and financial analysis
Maintain robust internal controls and ensure data integrity
Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline accounting processes
Participate in implementing new workflows and policies
Assess and deploy new tools where necessary
Promote automation, efficiency, and best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of accounting experience
In-depth knowledge of French and Belgian accounting standards and tax regulations
Demonstrated ability to improve and optimize processes
Rigorous, detail-oriented, and results-driven
Proactive and enthusiastic
Fluency in French and English is essential
Knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage
Experience in a software, SaaS, or technology environment
Comfortable working in a dynamic and demanding culture
Ability to balance operational tasks with strategic projects
