About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a frontline point of contact for US and Canadian employees regarding enrollments, eligibility, life events, terminations, and general plan benefits
  • Support internal Finance and Human Resources departments with benefits-related questions and issues
  • Process new hire benefit enrollments and terminations accurately within established service-level targets
  • Support day-to-day administration of retirement, medical, dental, vision, and ancillary benefits
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS/payroll systems, including ADP, and benefits carrier platforms
  • Assist with invoice reconciliation and billing reviews across benefits carriers
  • Support 401(k) administration, including data tracking and coordination with the recordkeeper
  • Maintain eligibility documentation and new hire benefits materials
  • Monitor and track employee leaves of absence, key dates, and benefit continuation status
  • Support ad hoc projects involving acquisitions, system changes, audits, and other team initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Foundational knowledge of employee benefits, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision when handling sensitive employee data and financial reconciliations
  • Patient and clear communication skills for explaining benefits concepts
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and open items simultaneously
  • Solid Excel skills, including formulas, formatting, and data organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with employees and internal teams
  • Sound discretion when handling confidential and sensitive employee information
  • Adaptability and ability to learn quickly in an evolving environment
  • Prior experience supporting benefits across US and Canadian employee populations is an asset
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is an asset
  • Entry-level to early-career profile, with approximately 0–2 years of relevant experience
