  • Develop forecasting and rate-recommendation logic for the auto-publish engine, including tolerance guardrails
  • Build LLM-driven features such as natural-language rate explanations, conversational property-performance queries, and automated market commentary
  • Develop rate-intelligence pipelines by ingesting competitor rates, cleaning third-party data, and generating reliable model signals
  • Create evaluation harnesses and monitoring to detect model degradation
  • Build full-stack functionality including APIs, data models, and user interfaces
  • Take technical ownership of ambiguous problems, make trade-off decisions, and remain accountable for production results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years building and shipping production software, with meaningful AI/ML work in that time
  • Strong Python; comfortable in TypeScript/JavaScript for the application layer
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI or similar), including prompt design, structured output, tool use, retrieval, and evaluation
  • Solid SQL and data modeling; ability to reason about schemas and write efficient queries
  • Experience with at least one of: time-series forecasting, pricing/optimization models, or recommendation systems
  • Comfort with messy, incomplete, real-world data, including third-party feeds, inconsistent APIs, and partial history
  • Cloud deployment experience and familiarity with modern CI/CD
  • Hospitality, travel, pricing, or marketplace domain experience (nice to have)
  • Experience integrating with PMS, channel manager, or booking-engine APIs (nice to have)
  • Background in a small startup where you owned a system rather than a ticket queue (nice to have)
  • Ability to take technical ownership and accountability for production outcomes
  • Ability to work independently in ambiguous situations
  • Strong asynchronous written communication
  • Ability to manage your own time zone and maintain reliable team overlap
