About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contact key decision-makers at targeted accounts across North America to inform them about Dispatch and generate product interest
- Identify, research, and nurture an executable pipeline for the Sales Organization
- Conduct market research with enterprise sales representatives
- Prospect top accounts through calling, email, and social channels
- Learn Dispatch applications, value proposition, and differentiation to improve sales conversations
- Attend new-hire training and build foundational knowledge
- Build relationships with Marketing, Sales, and other internal business partners
- Learn and use internal tools including Salesforce
- Shadow colleagues and learn Dispatch best practices
- Cold call and overcome objections
- Collaborate with Account Executives, Managers, and peers on product, talk track, and lead flow
- Meet quota and activity metrics
- Shadow product demos with Account Executives
- Assist in developing lead-generation best practices
- Help create sales and marketing campaigns to drive pipeline
- Participate in and lead onboarding and continuing-education programs
- Report, track, and share productivity measurements
- Develop expertise in the Dispatch product suite
- Identify personal education opportunities to improve business and instructional acumen
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years previous Business Development experience preferred
- Business-to-business (B2B) sales
- Inside sales/outside sales
- Previous cold-calling experience preferred
- Results-driven and competitive nature
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal/external clients
- Outstanding time-management skills
- Ability to learn and understand new products and technology
- Permanent residence within a state where Dispatch is registered
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; Dispatch participates in E-Verify
