About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage, optimize and develop the IT infrastructure of VSN and Woody Technologies
Report to Technology Management and collaborate with Development, Product, Operations and Customer Support teams
Manage servers, networks, storage, virtualization and corporate systems
Ensure technology system availability, performance and security
Administer Windows Server and Linux environments
Manage virtualization platforms and storage systems
Oversee backup, disaster recovery and business continuity policies
Manage IT asset inventories, software licenses and technology assets
Consolidate and optimize infrastructure across both companies
Administer and optimize AWS cloud environments, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM and CloudWatch
Oversee cloud platform security, availability and scalability
Deploy and maintain SaaS solutions with Development and Product teams
Participate in migrations to cloud and hybrid architectures
Implement monitoring, alerting and automation mechanisms
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs using FinOps practices
Define and implement IT security policies
Manage firewalls, VPNs, remote access systems and endpoint protection tools
Administer Microsoft 365, Active Directory, MFA and identity/access systems
Identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation
Manage access, permissions and credentials
Support GDPR and other data protection and security compliance
Define and maintain security incident response procedures
Ensure reliable operation of employee tools and systems
Handle second- and third-level technical incidents
Oversee employee IT onboarding and offboarding
Coordinate external IT service, telecommunications and hardware providers
Document procedures, configurations and internal policies
Improve support processes through automation and artificial intelligence tools
Drive automation of repetitive tasks and systems administration
Improve application deployment and maintenance with Development teams
Participate in implementing CI/CD tools, containers and monitoring systems
Promote Infrastructure as Code
Evaluate technologies that improve operational efficiency
Apply AI to IT operations, monitoring and incident resolution
Contribute to and monitor the IT budget
Control infrastructure, cloud, licensing and vendor costs
Negotiate with technology vendors and manage contracts
Identify cost savings while maintaining service quality and availability
Define KPIs for availability, incidents, security and costs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Systems or equivalent professional experience
At least 5 years of experience in systems administration and IT infrastructure, including coordination or management responsibilities
Strong experience administering Windows and Linux servers
Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure
Advanced knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls and perimeter security
Experience with virtualization, storage and backup systems
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory and identity management
Experience in cybersecurity and infrastructure protection best practices
Ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex incidents
Professional English proficiency (minimum B2) for working in an international environment
Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking skills
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator or similar) highly valued
Experience with SaaS environments and hybrid cloud architectures highly valued
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and automation tools highly valued
Experience with Terraform, Ansible or similar technologies highly valued
Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or Python) highly valued
Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus or CloudWatch highly valued
Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines highly valued
Experience with ITIL, ISO 27001 or equivalent standards highly valued
Previous experience in B2B software companies highly valued
Knowledge of audiovisual and broadcast infrastructure, media workflows or large-scale video storage systems highly valued
Experience in multinational or multi-site organizations highly valued
Hands-on, practical, proactive and results-oriented approach
