About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and market financial management software used by companies in France and internationally
Own and manage the products’ functional backlog
Work with a four-person R&D development team and report to the R&D Manager
Organize the product backlog, propose priorities, and keep it up to date
Assess requests and issues reported by support teams and customers, and recommend the appropriate next steps
Write clear and comprehensive tickets, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Write and maintain functional specifications and business rules
Monitor changes to banking regulations and their impact on the products
Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, refinement sessions, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Prepare and conduct functional acceptance testing and manual testing
Coordinate production releases with the R&D team
Document configuration settings with the support team and contribute to release notes
Contribute to the functional roadmap with the R&D Manager
Gradually expand the product scope with the support of the R&D Manager and colleagues familiar with the products and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ideally, experience in financial management, including areas such as cash management or accounting
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, both written and verbal
Willingness to challenge requests and propose solutions that deliver value to customers
Thorough and detail-oriented, with a commitment to verifying information before presenting it as fact
Curiosity about how software works, including permissions, data, and configuration
Experience with user acceptance testing or software testing
Experience using Jira and Confluence
Comfortable using AI tools on a daily basis
Written English proficiency
Based within commuting distance of Carquefou—less than one hour away—to work regularly on site
