About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, create, and execute manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and user stories
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing
- Identify opportunities to increase test automation and improve overall QA efficiency
- Validate calculations, formulas, financial data, reports, dashboards, and data transformations
- Test data imports, submissions, integrations, APIs, and database-driven functionality
- Verify that changes do not introduce regressions into existing functionality
- Investigate, reproduce, document, and track defects using Jira
- Work closely with developers to analyze defects and verify fixes
- Participate in requirements and refinement sessions and identify potential quality risks early in the development process
- Contribute to the definition and improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices
- Maintain clear and structured test documentation and test evidence
- Support release testing and provide QA feedback and recommendations before production releases
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of experience in Software QA / Software Testing
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test cases, defect management, and software development life cycles
- Practical experience with test automation
- Experience testing web-based applications
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios
- Understanding of financial/business concepts and numerical data
- Experience working with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools
- Good understanding of regression and integration testing
- Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders
