About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Aspire and/or vendor engineering teams to acquire Bills of Materials or build configurations directly in vendor design and quoting tools
  • Request formal vendor quotes from technical/pre-sales teams in response to customer requirements
  • Submit requests for special vendor pricing, including deal registration and price deviation, through vendor online portals and track them through approval
  • Validate approved special pricing against corresponding Aspire quotes and update cost and customer-facing pricing
  • Monitor deal registration expiration dates and renew them as required
  • Build accurate quotes for customers or Account Managers, confirming pricing, part numbers, and configurations
  • Answer quote-related questions and prepare revised quotes as customer requirements change
  • Validate final pricing against customer purchase orders and vendor quotes, then process orders in NetSuite
  • Create associated Professional Services projects or Managed Services agreements when applicable
  • Coordinate with vendor and distributor representatives on quote and order status
  • Escalate vendor delays or discrepancies to keep customer commitments on track
  • Maintain accurate quote, opportunity, and order records in the CRM and NetSuite
  • Resolve customer-related issues such as order discrepancies and pricing questions
  • Identify workflow improvements and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Service Delivery to implement them

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one (1) year relevant experience in office, supply chain or sales environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word or similar tools
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in sales operations, order management, quoting, or a related role, ideally within an IT solutions provider, VAR, or technology distribution environment
  • Preferred: Knowledge of NetSuite, QuoteWerks, Cisco Systems tools and processes
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
