About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own day-to-day transaction flow across expenses, sales orders, the general ledger and creator payouts
Review creator payment runs for accuracy, approvals and supporting documentation before release
Process and pay creator payments through Lumanu
Prepare PayPal creator payments and send approved batches to Payments Processing
Investigate and resolve failed, duplicate or disputed payouts
Review and approve sales orders daily, confirming pricing, terms and customer details
Flag sales-order discrepancies to Sales and Customer Success
Record journal entries, accruals and reclasses in the general ledger
Support revenue recognition and reconcile revenue to sales orders and billing
Reconcile Lumanu and PayPal activity to the general ledger
Contribute to month-end close deliverables
Review and approve employee expense reports in Airbase against company policy
Coordinate reimbursements and follow up on missing receipts or out-of-policy spend
Support payroll-related entries and data from Paylocity as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years in accounting, accounts payable or payments operations
Working knowledge of GL accounting, journal entries, reconciliations and revenue basics
Hands-on experience with high-volume payment runs and payment platforms (PayPal or similar)
Strong attention to detail and controls mindset around approvals and payment release
Clear written English and reliable communication with US-based teams
Able to work consistently on Pacific Time hours
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or progress toward ACCA/CPA preferred
Experience with Lumanu, Airbase and Paylocity preferred
Background in influencer marketing, creator economy or SaaS preferred
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills preferred
