Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or healthcare related field preferred
  • Three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience required
  • Recent experience as a hospital-based Nurse Case Manager preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact upon hire
  • BLS required upon hire
  • ACMA certification as a Case Manager preferred
  • Strong clinical background
  • Case management experience
  • Well-developed assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of medical necessity, level of care, and patient status (inpatient vs outpatient)
  • Knowledge of community resources such as transportation, skilled nursing facilities, or home health agencies
  • Ability to work Monday–Friday day shift, 3–4 weekends per year, and a holiday rotation
