About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide pharmacy services across mail services, specialty pharmacy, medication histories, and prior authorizations
- Support pharmacy services across the Madison area
- Work at the Pharmacy Shared Services Building in Middleton
- Perform or support pharmacy administration, primary care services, medication prior authorization, sterile and non-sterile compounding, unit dose packaging, and specialty/mail service programs
- Prioritize and manage work within a busy pharmacy environment
- Collaborate as a strong team player across pharmacy services
Requirements
What you’ll need- No minimum education required
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school required
- Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration required upon hire
- Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Strong teamwork, attention to detail, critical thinking, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Ability to work Monday–Friday day-shift hours between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, varying according to operational needs
