About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work as a Nurse (RN) - Case Manager
- Provide case management using clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Apply utilization management experience and knowledge of medical necessity, level of care, and patient status
- Work 4-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts as needed to fill staffing gaps
- Work Monday through Friday during business hours; weekend hours may be included but are not required
- Collaborate within a team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Required
- Master's degree in Nursing or healthcare related field Preferred
- Three (3) years of relevant clinical nursing experience. Required
- Recent experience as a hospital-based Nurse Case Manager Preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact upon hire. Required
- Strong clinical background
- Utilization management experience
- Well-developed assessment and critical thinking skills
- Understanding of medical necessity, level of care, and patient status
