About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, with flexible scheduling between 5:00am and 7:00pm
- Perform reimbursement representative duties within billing, insurance, and medical coding functions
- Work in a hybrid arrangement with in-person work at UW Health Home Health, 2550 Charles St., Rockford
- Support reimbursement and revenue cycle activities for UW Health in northern Illinois
Requirements
What you’ll need- No minimum education required
- 1 year of experience in an insurance, finance, medical, hospital, or customer service-related field required
- Revenue Cycle experience preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, Health Information Management, or related field preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- No licenses or certifications required
