About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute the operational strategy across five manufacturing sites in Europe
- Drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and working capital
- Foster accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, and operational excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop Plant Managers
- Strengthen leadership capability and succession planning
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Optimize manufacturing processes, capacity utilization, and cross-site collaboration
- Establish best practices, performance standards, and operational governance
- Partner with commercial and supply chain teams to enhance service levels and customer satisfaction
- Lead capital investment initiatives and operational transformation programs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies
- Support expansion of the manufacturing footprint through future acquisitions
- Report to the Vice President Operations & Supply Chain
Requirements
What you’ll need- Extensive leadership experience within manufacturing, industrial operations, or engineering-driven environments
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site operations in an international setting
- Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and business transformation
- Track record of improving safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity metrics
- Experience in made-to-order, high-variant manufacturing environments
- Understanding of configurable products, production complexity, and project execution
- Solid commercial and financial acumen, including investment planning and capital allocation
- Ability to develop leaders, build accountability, and create high-performing teams
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience working across European markets and cultures
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or a related discipline
- Ability to work at one of the manufacturing sites in the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, the UK, or Switzerland
- Approximately 40–60% travel required
