About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and implement next-generation digital door locks
Engage from product conception through production and end of life
Collaborate with design engineers from concept to production to ensure product quality throughout the product lifespan
Develop and design test plans and procedures to validate electronic components and systems
Set up and conduct tests according to specifications and standards
Analyse test results to identify performance trends, failures, or areas for improvement
Collaborate with design engineers and other stakeholders based on test outcomes
Manage or participate in product certification

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient written and verbal communication in English
Able to occasionally travel across EU and other ASSA ABLOY Regions
Experience in electronic engineering/testing
Experience in certification testing, working with standards and norms
Programming experience in Python or similar is beneficial
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
RF experience is desirable
