About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform basic upkeep and cleaning of the facility
  • Perform maintenance and repairs of buildings and grounds, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing
  • Provide facilities and maintenance labor and technical support across the site structure, equipment, and grounds
  • Work with manufacturing and process engineering using blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches
  • Support daily scheduled and unscheduled facility and production work-order activities
  • Repair and polish concrete manufacturing floors as required
  • Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions and needed repairs or maintenance
  • Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma/GED preferred
  • 2 years of light industrial electrical experience required
  • 2 years of plumbing/sewer experience required
  • Ability to observe safety and security procedures and comply with company policies
  • Ability to read and interpret written information, write clear statements, and communicate orally
  • Ability to perform physical labor and operate power equipment such as forklifts and boom lifts
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Ability to work professionally with outside vendors
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take direction
  • Must have own tools
  • Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work overtime as required
