About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own daily operations across business development, inside sales, P&L management, light manufacturing, capacity planning, and production scheduling
  • Drive revenue growth, expand market presence, strengthen customer partnerships, and identify new business opportunities
  • Lead a high-performing manufacturing and distribution operation
  • Develop and execute local growth strategies with the sales team to increase revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Build and expand relationships with distributors, contractors, fabricators, general contractors, architects, and other key customers
  • Identify emerging markets and underserved customer segments
  • Work with onsite and regional Customer Services employees to ensure responsiveness, service excellence, and customer loyalty
  • Drive a culture focused on growth, accountability, and customer-centric decision making
  • Execute operational strategy to meet or exceed production and budgetary expectations
  • Manage freight and distribution, capacity and manpower planning, inventory, replenishment, and production scheduling
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for growth, retention, profitability, cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, inventory, and on-time delivery
  • Manage financial performance, including revenue growth, margin improvement, expense control, budget adherence, and profitability
  • Develop organizational capabilities through training, development, and succession planning
  • Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA, ASSA ABLOY standards, applicable regulations, AADG policies, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
  • Report directly to the Regional Operations Director or Head of Hollow Metal

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of four (4) years of leadership experience with demonstrated success leading teams and delivering business results
  • Demonstrated success in business development, customer growth, branch management, account management, sales leadership, operational leadership, or other roles involving responsibility for business growth and customer relationship development
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop customer relationships, and translate growth opportunities into profitable business results
  • Experience managing or influencing both operational and commercial objectives, including customer relationships, revenue growth, business development, or profitability initiatives
  • Strong business acumen with an understanding of financial performance, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean principles such as Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Experience in metal forming or a related field and/or a general understanding of the commercial construction industry preferred
  • Leadership ability, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop relationships and influence all levels within the organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, follow-up, and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to travel to local customers with occasional overnight stays required
