About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install Megadoor vertical lift fabric door and horizontal rolling door systems
- Assemble structural, mechanical, electrical, and control components
- Read and interpret shop drawings and specifications
- Support commissioning and startup activities
- Operate lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, and rigging equipment
- Support service, preventive maintenance, modernization, and warranty activities as required
- Complete service reports, expenses, and field documentation
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company assets
- Exercise stop-work authority when unsafe conditions exist
- Support installation, service, inspection, modernization, commissioning, warranty, and repair activities as assigned
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Field Operations Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Hands-on experience in industrial or commercial construction, mechanical or electrical systems, maintenance, door systems, ironworking, structural steel, or related trades preferred
- Experience as an Ironworker, Millwright, Electrician, or similar skilled trades professional highly valued
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and reporting tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical challenges and troubleshooting
- Problem resolution skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
- US citizen or green card holder required to access military and restricted government facilities
- Ability to work regularly at heights exceeding 100 feet
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to travel 85-90% or more
