About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage all installation operations
  • Supervise and manage Installation Technicians
  • Manage multiple installation projects each month
  • Order and release equipment through the factory and customer service
  • Coordinate project schedules with end-user customers
  • Meet established goals and growth objectives under the Operations Leader or District Manager
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Administrative personnel for scheduling, ordering, and installation coordination
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare and retail end-users, general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers
  • Communicate with the factory regarding backlog and job release/work in progress
  • Collaborate continuously with Sales to determine labor hours and project margins
  • Review projections and forecast reports frequently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma (required); AA, BA, BS preferred
  • Effective communication skills and team approach
  • Prior experience directly managing/supervising Field Technicians in the Door Automation/Construction Industry
  • Background in planning and completing contracted jobs in the Construction Industry
  • Prior experience supervising Administrative personnel involved in scheduling, ordering, and coordinating installation activities
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including different hours and weekends if necessary
  • Prior experience installing electromechanical products is desired
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing relationships with General Contractors, End-Users, and subcontractors across Retail, Healthcare, Government, and other sectors
  • Experience dealing with vendors and suppliers for proper ordering and timely product supply
  • Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings
  • Experience establishing monthly forecasting and results
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Office and Baan
