About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Comply with SOPs and work instructions related to the job function
- Meet performance standards contributing to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with peers and internal customers
- Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines
- Conduct manual production operations as required
- Perform daily 5S and preventive maintenance of equipment and surrounding areas
- Verify BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork, and markings
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve performance
- Log and escalate potential issues
- Participate in root cause and corrective/preventive action activities
- Understand daily workload and define shift hours based on demand
- Ensure Machine Operators have the correct materials and paperwork
- Execute the Order Management process to achieve delivery and efficiency targets
- Act as the point of contact between production and support areas to resolve operational issues
- Provide day-to-day card and/or reader programming and light machinery/equipment maintenance
- Support the Production Leader and/or Production Supervisor
- Act as backup for the Production Lead when unavailable
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a minimum of one year manufacturing experience
- Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent
- Familiarity with MS Office applications
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows
- Familiar and able to navigate in Excel
- Applicants must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the hiring country
- Immigration sponsorship is not available
- International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the hiring country will not be considered
