Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers in designing and implementing manufacturing processes
  • Optimize processes to achieve cost savings
  • Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing process issues with production teams
  • Conduct tests and inspections for product quality and specification adherence
  • Analyze production data and implement continuous process improvements
  • Prepare and update work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor production lines and equipment trends for efficiency and safety
  • Train production personnel on new processes and equipment
  • Develop and validate fixtures and in-line testers with the engineering team
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support process optimization and new product introductions with cross-functional teams
  • Assist in selecting and procuring manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and ISO 14001/9001 requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or a related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to navigate PDM & ERP systems to locate needed information
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence in English
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions in English
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and best practices
  • Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts to engineering problems
  • Ability to apply logic or scientific thinking to intellectual and practical problems
  • Ability to work near fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, use hands, reach, communicate clearly, and lift up to 10 pounds
