Explore how artificial intelligence can support B2B sales teams in creating fast, commercially sound, customer-specific quotes
Examine AI-powered decision support for configuring offers and providing clear, explainable price guidance
Investigate the use of customer characteristics, product configuration, historical transactions, discounts, deal outcomes, and market context to guide pricing decisions in real time
Balance quote speed, pricing consistency, transparency, and commercial quality
Identify data and commercial signals needed for reliable customer-specific price guidance
Design an explainable and trusted AI-based recommendation approach
Determine how pricing guidance should be presented during quote configuration
Define governance, approval logic, and guardrails for AI-supported pricing and quoting
Demonstrate the proposed approach through a context-appropriate prototype, proof of concept, decision-support tool, or interactive mock-up
Perform most work at the ASSA ABLOY site in Liljeholmen, Stockholm

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s student available to collaborate during the spring semester of 2027
Understanding of B2B sales, pricing, quoting, or CPQ processes is valuable
Knowledge of artificial intelligence, data science, business analytics, or decision-support methods
Interest in explainable AI and practical adoption of AI-supported recommendations in commercial settings
Analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to structure complex problems, assess data objectively, and develop practical solutions
Relevant academic background, such as Industrial Engineering and Management, Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Business Analytics, or a similar field

Travel required: 0%-10%
