About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute portfolio strategies driving growth, profitability, and market share for ARROW and Lawrence Hardware product portfolios
  • Evaluate market trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and Voice of Customer insights
  • Identify opportunities for new products, product enhancements, and portfolio optimization
  • Manage the full product lifecycle from business case development and product launches through portfolio monitoring and end-of-life planning
  • Define product requirements and collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams on customer-focused solutions
  • Lead strategic business initiatives and new product development programs
  • Manage project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, and successful implementation
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development on forecasting, commercialization, pricing, product positioning, promotions, and market introductions
  • Monitor key performance metrics, product financials, and portfolio performance
  • Ensure product information, certifications, compliance requirements, and business system data remain accurate and current
  • Serve as an interface between customers, commercial teams, and product development functions
  • Support customer presentations, training events, trade shows, leadership updates, and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, Program Management, Project Management, or a related business leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, and new product launches
  • Strong analytical, financial, problem-solving, and business acumen
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, ERP/MRP systems, product data management tools, project collaboration platforms, and product financial analysis and reporting
  • Up to 20% travel is required, including customer visits, trade shows, and occasional international travel
  • A valid passport is required or the ability to obtain one
  • Preferred: experience in commercial building products, hardware, security products, or related industries
  • Preferred: familiarity with structured product development processes and stage-gate methodologies
  • Preferred: experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably JD Edwards
  • Preferred: experience using Jira, Confluence, or Trello
  • Preferred: knowledge of wholesale distribution channels and commercial construction markets
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
