About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical support and training for ASSA ABLOY Entrance System PDS products, brands, and competitive equipment
  • Support field technicians, installers, and contractors with training and guidance
  • Provide phone, online, and documentation support
  • Travel to support customers and train technicians
  • Support special Sales and R&D projects
  • Work closely with Quality and Parts departments
  • Serve as an AAADM certified trainer
  • Support individual and departmental goals
  • Assist districts and service providers professionally and proactively
  • Participate in regular meetings and communicate with department supervisors on projects and activities
  • Identify and document required compliance training for technicians and installers
  • Install and test door equipment
  • Provide product feedback
  • Support and audit activities
  • Work closely with the R&D team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant service and technical skills and experience
  • Analytical skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to travel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong team approach to work environment
  • Product knowledge of Besam, Record, Stanley, Horton, and other major manufacturers' products for slide, swing, fold, and revolving doors
  • Ability to work remotely without direct supervision on a regular basis
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to offer suggestions and ideas with a well-thought-out plan
  • AAADM Certified inspector
  • Ability to comply with established policies, procedures, regulatory codes, and standards
