About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support daily production activities by assembling door components, operating tools and equipment, moving materials, and inspecting completed work
Assemble door components, including frames, panels, and hardware
Perform manufacturing, assembly, material-handling, and general production activities
Read and follow work orders, drawings, specifications, job travelers, and production instructions
Measure, position, assemble, and handle components according to production and quality requirements
Inspect parts and finished products for proper fit, dimensions, appearance, and overall quality
Identify and report defective materials, incorrect components, and other quality concerns
Load, unload, move, stage, and position materials and finished products
Complete required production and quality documentation
Maintain clean, organized, and safe tools, equipment, and work areas
Work collaboratively with other production areas to maintain workflow and meet production requirements
Follow applicable laws, company policies, programs, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documents, and basic blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and other production equipment
Forklift and overhead crane operation when properly trained and authorized
Must follow safety procedures and use required PPE
