About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage indirect procurement at Nordic level
- Source goods and services from appropriate suppliers at the right price and terms
- Manage IT sourcing and procurement activities, including IT products, services, software, hardware and technology solutions
- Own relationships with key suppliers
- Take responsibility for selected purchasing categories
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the EMEIA procurement team
- Assess, select and develop suppliers in line with local, EMEIA and ASSA ABLOY Group requirements
- Perform supplier segmentation and risk management
- Lead tendering processes and negotiations
- Create, maintain and update supplier contracts
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and regular supplier meetings
- Plan and implement procurement strategies for indirect categories
- Monitor prices and market changes
- Find new suppliers and deliver targets for savings, supplier reduction and payment terms
- Collaborate with EMEIA Category Managers and other divisions
- Step in for colleagues when needed
- Report to the Indirect Materials and Procurement Excellence Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Holds a university degree in business, engineering or a related field; training or education in procurement or logistics is a strong advantage
- Solid experience in procurement, supplier cooperation and negotiations, ideally from a manufacturing environment with exposure to production and product development
- Good knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing and order-to-delivery processes
- In-depth understanding of suppliers' cost structures
- Strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel, and handling large data sets
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and 27001 standards and how they apply to supplier decisions
- Confident negotiation skills and strong commercial mindset
- Ability to influence and present ideas to suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Independent and structured, with ability to plan and prioritise own work
- Ownership of decisions and associated risks
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
