About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare accurate customer invoices according to contract terms and billing schedules
Submit invoices through required delivery channels and maintain supporting documentation
Maintain accounts receivable aging and monitor outstanding balances
Perform timely collection follow-up on past-due invoices
Track deferred revenue and maintain related schedules and reconciliations
Record cash transactions, code checks, scan deposits to SEB/PNC, and reconcile cash accounts
Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting under IFRS and US GAAP
Manage accounts receivable and general accounting shared inboxes and respond to customer inquiries
Manage orders and revenue reporting against targets, including monthly recurring revenue and annual recurring revenue
Prepare month-end variance analyses, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations
Reconcile credit card transactions and import transaction data into the ERP system
Manage the Avalara relationship and review sales tax returns and supporting data
Coordinate corrections and monitor tax filing and payment status
Support external year-end reviews, local statutory audits, finance policies, and compliance activities
Implement and improve finance processes and systems
Drive continuous improvement and assist with ad hoc projects and analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of four years of experience in an accounting- or finance-related role
Experience in an accounting, finance, or customer support role
Candidates must be U.S. citizens and legally authorized to work in the United States
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including financial and civil record reviews, criminal history, employment and education verification, and drug screening
Ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and professionally with strong follow-up, tracking, and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills
Effective communication in English
Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and follows through with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with web applications using supported browsers and Adobe PDF applications
Experience with revenue accounting, including deferred revenue and revenue recognition, preferred
Experience using artificial intelligence tools preferred; willingness to learn and adopt AI-enabled tools expected

Must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the United States
