About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Generate and capture cross-brand demand for ASSA ABLOY mechanical and electromechanical products
- Drive product sales within the targeted aftermarket channel community, including wholesalers, security professionals, and systems integrators
- Communicate with decision makers and influencers
- Implement aftermarket sales objectives
- Collaborate with local sales teams
- Develop a territory-specific aftermarket attack plan
- Assess and report industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities
- Track projects, collaborate with the team, and execute sales activities
- Service customers in healthcare, school, university, military, and commercial building settings
Requirements
What you’ll need- College/University degree preferred, especially in architectural design/engineering, construction science/management, or similar, OR work experience commensurate with a minimum high school/GED diploma
- Minimum of 2–3 years of industry-related experience creating and driving sales results to end users and channel partners servicing the aftermarket channel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
- Working knowledge of industry-related software is a plus
- Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for selling door opening solutions
- Detail-oriented, organized, and strong follow-up habits
- Ability to manage time and projects proficiently
- Strong communication, active listening, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and understand specifications and facility standards
- Industry-related technical and sales aptitude
- Ability to travel and meet customer requirements
- Ability to work in a home office environment or while traveling
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. of sample and display material
- Ability to work in or be based in North Texas/Dallas, Texas, United States
