About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and deploy SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling solutions across the Americas region
Serve as the primary SAP FICO functional consultant for Finance business users
Provide production support, incident resolution, service requests, and operational stabilization
Assess business requirements against approved global SAP template capabilities
Ensure solutions and process recommendations comply with global SAP templates, standards, and governance policies
Configure and support GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Cash Management, EBS, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and CO-PA
Recommend standard SAP solutions while minimizing custom developments and regional deviations
Create and maintain functional specifications for WRICEF objects
Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and deploy enhancements, reports, interfaces, workflows, and forms
Support SIT, UAT, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities
Integrate Finance processes with SD, MM, PP, EWM, and related SAP modules
Support Finance master data activities
Investigate and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests within agreed service levels
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities
Drive root-cause analysis and reduce recurring incidents through process improvements and proactive support
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Collaborate with the Global SAP CoE on enhancement requests, standardization, and governance compliance
Support adoption of approved global standards and minimize regional customizations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Minimum 5-7 years of SAP FICO consulting, support, and solution delivery experience
Minimum 1 full lifecycle SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, or major enhancement project
Strong hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders, Cash Management, Electronic Bank Statement, and Financial Closing Processes
Strong understanding of Financial Accounting and Controlling processes
Strong integration knowledge across FI-SD, FI-MM, and FI-PP
Experience creating functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, forms, and conversions
Experience with testing, data migration, cutover planning, deployment, and post-go-live support
Experience supporting production environments, incident management, and change request delivery
Experience working within a globally governed SAP environment utilizing standardized templates and processes
Demonstrated ability to balance production support, continuous improvement, and rollout activities
Proven experience driving adoption of standardized business processes across regional business units
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications
Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills
Ability to independently manage multiple priorities, projects, and support activities in a fast-paced environment
SAP Certified Application Associate – Financial Accounting with SAP S/4HANA is desirable
Experience with S/4HANA Finance implementations, rollouts, or transformation programs is desirable
Experience with Universal Journal (ACDOCA), Document Splitting, Parallel Accounting, Group Reporting, or Central Finance is desirable
Knowledge of SAP Fiori, Embedded Analytics, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is desirable
Experience supporting Finance processes within manufacturing, industrial products, consumer products, or distribution environments is desirable
Familiarity with Treasury, Cash Forecasting, and Advanced Cash Management capabilities is desirable
Basic ABAP debugging knowledge and familiarity with enhancement frameworks is desirable
Experience working with distributed global teams and offshore delivery models is desirable
Working hours primarily aligned to the US Central Time Zone (CST), with flexibility to support APAC and European business requirements as needed
