About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on AEM and related integration platform development projects through the entire lifecycle in collaboration with partners.
Work with developers under the guidance of the technical lead to deliver requirements.
Support existing implementations through enhancements and bug fixes.
Develop technical approaches designed by the technical lead/architect to achieve business requirements; document and peer review them.
Deliver enterprise-level AEM integration and development involving third-party client-side integrations and request/response flows.
Gather AEM technical and functional requirements from business teams during discovery and translate them into AEM UI solutions.
Create development approaches with the team and present them for approval, including effort estimates.
Develop AEM features and functionality using modern design patterns for custom solutions and third-party integrations.
Suggest alternative technical solutions for efficiency, reusability, and long-term value.
Contribute to architectural decisions and development guidelines.
Participate in agile methodologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive hands-on experience with AEM Components, editable Templates, Client Libraries, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, Workflows, Content Publishing, Tagging, Campaigns, Analytics, and Targeting.
Strong experience designing optimized AEM library delivery and reusability across tenants.
Experience or understanding of third-party integrations, including Search Integrations, Authentication Handlers, Web services Integrations, and CRM Integrations.
Experience with E-Commerce platforms is highly desirable, such as Magento and Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using AEM, Search, Commerce package, or other platforms.
Good understanding of AEM Multi-site Manager and Blueprinting, advanced targeting/personalization, and multivariate testing.
Experience implementing AEM multi-tenant solutions.
Experience implementing tagging and data layers for complex analytics, content targeting, and personalization scenarios.
Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards for security, efficiency, readability, and reuse.
Overall 5+ years of experience delivering enterprise solutions.
Minimum 3+ years of experience developing with AEM Touch UI, version 6.4 and higher.
Minimum 4+ years of solution designing and executing AEM site builds.
Experience with Editable Templates, Touch UI Components (React/Sightly/JSP/Java/Angular), Servlets, Services, third-party integration, server-side caching, Atomic Design, client libraries (jQuery/ES6), Sling Models, Experience and Content Fragments, Context Hub and Campaign, OSGi configuration, Styling System/Multitenant Architecture, MSM, debugging, performance improvement, SEO debugging and tracking.
Experience with Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience with cloud offerings as a hosting platform.
Experience designing CI/CD processes.
Experience customizing GDPR presentation.
Strong ownership and accountability, broad web and digital knowledge, and troubleshooting/problem-solving aptitude.
AEM Developer or Adobe AEM Advanced Developer certification is a plus.
